For our location in Made, we are looking for a Seed Processing planning supervisor.

As Plant planning supervisor, you are the link between planning and production inside our factory, where vegetable seeds are processed. You ensure optimal deployment of people and resources, managing the correct planning and good reports from processing are delivered complete and on time.

In this role, you will also manage two colleagues who will support the registration and scheduling activities for our plant operations.

In this role, you will have a lot of contact with colleagues from the Production, Supply Chain and Customer Service departments; after all, you are all working on part of the same process. Your colleagues will turn to you for accurate and complete information about the factory, about the results and progress of work orders. It is therefore your responsibility to ensure the use of the system tools, we must keep track and manage in a timely and accurate manner the workload inside our factory. Proper reporting for management, communication with the team leads within the factory and stakeholders outside your own department are also a big part of the responsibilities.

So, in this role, your leadership qualities, communication skills and skills in processing and handling data will all come in handy. In order to be success for this role, you have to have

• A bachelor’s degree (HBO)
• Experience as a planner or familiar with the activities of a planning department due to close cooperation
• Leadership skills; experience in a managerial role is not required
• Fluency in the Dutch language
• Good knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written
• Assertiveness, analytical skills and able to build positive relationships
