We are looking for a Packaging Manager for Hazera Seeds in Made, the Netherlands.

This position reports to the Plant Manager. 

The mission of our Packaging Manager:

• Lead the packing activities in the plant ensuring product delivery according to business needs.
• Lead the department’s team of supervisors.
• Maximize the resources and encourage execution excellence & professionalism on the work floor.
• Implement continuous improvement tools and ways of working.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Leads a team of 12 operators.
• Deploys resources optimally, monitors progress and steers on achieving business objectives.
• Communicates clear, builds on effective internal and external networks and leverages relationships.
• Manages information and provides transparent managerial reports on progress of business objectives.
• A member of the Plant’s Management team, supports achieving plant KPI’s, leading cross plant projects.
• Initiates & leads implementation of advanced methodologies, tools and technologies to accelerate business initiatives.

Candidate profile:

• HBO or bachelor’s degree.
• 2-3 years experience in a leading position.
• Knowledge of processing or production and quality control.
• Operational execution to provide solutions and opportunities to improvements.
• Team player with great communication and interpersonal skills, as this role interacts with different interfaces of the business.
• Experience with ERP systems
