Demand Planner (full time)
Demand Planner
Are you a detail-oriented thinker with a keen eye for the bigger picture? Do you have strong analytical ability, clear communication skills, can multitask effectively, and are you a master of time management? Then we are looking for you! As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role within our Demand Planning team, working closely with departments such as Sales, Finance, Production, Supply Chain, Marketing and Customer Service to optimize our forecasting and planning. You report directly to the Demand Planning Manager.
Responsibilities:
Optimizing Forecasts: Monitor and manage accurate forecast models to support business goals.
Collaborate with Sales: Working closely with sales reps to ensure alignment on forecast accuracy, sales results, and key bottlenecks.
Product management: Reviewing forecasts for new, existing, and phased-out products. You are always aware of new needs and proactively manage new product combinations.
Data Management: Management of master data in our forecast tool (Demantra).
Reporting: Analyzing data and reporting KPIs to senior management. You use gap analysis and prepare monthly or bi-monthly reports.
Training and Support: Supervise, train and support forecast owners in forecasting and budget processes.
Innovation and Communication: Introducing and explaining new methodologies to relevant stakeholders.
Scarcity management: Manage shortages and allocations to ensure supply chain continuity.
Order-to-Cash Support: Supporting the order-to-cash process and approving orders where necessary.
Job requirements
Candidate profile:
Education & Experience: At least HBO degree, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management. At least 3 years' work experience.
Knowledge & Skills: Experience with forecasting, demand planning, innovation production planning, and S&OP.
Analytical Skills: A critical thinker with an eye for detail, and a focus on continuous improvement
Communication: Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus), both verbally and written.
Data-driven: Familiar with statistics, spreadsheets (Excel) and cause-and-effect analysis.
Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a hands-on mindset.
Operational Responsibility: You can work effectively without a mandate, but you are still responsible for large operational tasks.
Flexibility: Available to work during peak periods.
Service-oriented: A customer-oriented mindset and the willingness to always go the extra mile.
